ingredients
4 quarts jar full of peeled garlic cloves
cold water, enough to top off jar
3 tablespoons salt
directions
Combine the water and salt in a saucepan over high heat. Bring to a boil and let boil until the salt has dissolved. Remove the pan from the heat and let cool.
When cool, pour the salt water over the garlic cloves, covering them completely with the liquid. Seal the jar and let stand at room temperature for 2 days then move the jar to the refrigerator and store for one month before using the garlic.
