Garnishing Drinks
A pretty garnish will make your drinks taste even better. Choose according to the flavor of the drink. A sweet, fruity drink is enhanced by a citrus wedge, slice or twist, fresh berries, mint sprigs, cherries or mixed fruit kabobs. A vegetable or beef-based drink can be perked up with a celery or carrot stick, olive or cocktail onion. A hot drink is nicer with a candy cane or cinnamon stick stirrer; pick a compatible flavor. Citrus peel studded with whole cloves add flavor and color to a hot spicy or fruity punch.
For a frosted glass, place glass in the freezer at least 30 minutes before using. Slowly pour chilled beverage into glass to prevent breakage.
